We all have fond memories of our time at college - the freedom, the friends, the recreational activities and the amazing professors who helped mold our minds and let us loose on the world, hungry to be a success and make a mark.
No offense to my Alma Mater but after dishing out over $100k for a marketing degree and over a decade to ponder and expand upon what I was taught, I've come to the conclusion that marketing is everywhere - from flowers to flash mobs and it is almost all common sense.... As long as you know how to make it work.
If you are like me, when you go shopping, watch a movie or see a commercial you think about who the target market is and how are they trying to gain that particular market's loyalty. In marketing, nothing is a coincidence. That hilarious Snickers ad, though seemingly simple, was the brainchild of many smart peeps and hours of hard work for your viewing pleasure.
This blog will aim to discuss marketing, trends and how our world revolves around it.
Today I leave you with my latest favorite commercial from Expedia. There is very little chance that after viewing it, you won't want to check out flight rates. Excuse the current lack of vibrant enhancements as this blog, like everything else in life, is a work in progress.
